Business owners have to market, advertise, produce products, and much more. Do we really know who to market to, where our market audience is, what are they buying, what do they need, etc. How does one figure out the answers to these questions?
Here are 5 ZERO COST WAYS to help answer those questions and increase your sales:
- Create a sense of belonging. People have a desire to feel apart or belong to a community. Your business can create this type of community around your brand by means of social media groups, forums, events, meetings, etc. By creating a sense of belonging, you boost your customer’s loyalty which will later build increased lifetime value.
- Use different hues or colors. Different colors and visuals evoke different emotions. Even different smells will evoke different emotions and behaviors. Red gives a sense of emergency, whereas blue gives off protection. When choosing colors for your business for branding, packaging, and marketing materials, you want to choose colors that will align with the desires of your clients response to your business.
- Create a sales funnel of some sort. Develop a strategy that involves getting someone to agree to something small preferably free or low cost before asking for something else. Examples would be ebooks, free trials, and free samples just to give your customers a taste of what your business has to offer them so they will want more.
- Implement Scarcity. Clients want something that is unique to them. You can create a sense of urgency by offering limited time offers, exclusive deals, or limited stock. Be careful though, do not use this technique all the time.
- Social Proof. This is one of the most powerful ways if I might say. This way is the most powerful because almost the whole world at one time or another looks online for information about something. You can use customer testimonials, customer reviews, and endorsements from influencers as just a few ways.
The idea of this whole article is to give you insight on how you need to look in the eyes of your target audience.
